Massage Therapy

Massage not only relaxes stiff muscles, but it also helps heal, build, and protect muscles. Along with helping the lymph system clean out any toxins in the body. When horses injure themselves, they will change the way they carry themselves to help combat the pain. This causes some muscles to be over worked on one side, then becoming tight and sore. While on the other side, the muscles aren’t worked as hard and therefore become loose. This will not only affect the use of the muscles on that side but the skeletal system that they attach to. Therapeutic work can help treat the side effects and the core of the pain. Massage therapy services can also include healing touch work, acupressure and cranial sacral work if the horse needs it.
